Iam a vet whos in the process of going to court for my social security, and i received a statement from child support, saying that i owe a substantional amount of money for a child that has yet to have the paternity determined. i havent worked in the last seven years due to my injuries, i cant afford a lawyer, and legal aid cant help. with a zero balance on money, what can i do, some one please help, anthonyU.S. law)? I'm not sure what you're asking - what are you wanting to suppress?

Is there actually a child support order, or is this the first step in the process?

Why do you have to go to court for SS?

Were you married when the said child was born?
