A RELATIVE WAS ACCUSED OF DISCOUNTING AND PASSING ITEMS AT A RETAIL STORE.THEY WERE QUESTIONED BY THE LOSS PREVENTION MANAGER AND TOLD IF THEY SIGN A CONFESSION THAT HE DICTATED TO THEM THEY WILL NOT BE PROSICUTED AND NOTHING WILL GO ON THEIR RECORD. AFTER THE CONFESSION WAS WRITTEN EXACTLY AS THE LPM SAID, MY RELATIVE WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH A FELONY. I AM TOLD THIS IS ALL LEGAL,YOU CAN BE LIED INTO CONFESSION AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.ANY COMMENT?

Your relative was guilty of theft. Whatever the LPM said doesn't change the fact that your relative was caught their hand in the proverbial cookie jar. What the LPM did was perfectly OK. Your relative wrote the statement and then signed it. End of story. Lesson learned should be not to steal anything it's not worth it.

NEGATIVE, RELATIVE DID NOT STEAL ANYTHING. OTHER EMPLOYEES USED RELATIVES PASSWORD. ACTUAL END OF STORY* DON'T TRUST YOUR FELLOW EMPLOYEES AND LPM'S ALSO LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING. WITH THIS LEGAL SYSTEM SURE GLAD IT WASN'T MURDER.
