It's been placed under copyright claim by UMG and I would like to dispute it because I believe that I'm using it under fair use but I want to be sure before I do so. Any help would be much appreciated.

Here's the original video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zzP29emgpg

and here's my parody video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhG6W7-23eY

Fair Use is a defense if you are sued for copyright infringement. It is not something you can use to force youtube to keep your video up. They can take down any video they want to. I posted a video of my dog taking a long pee and somebody complained so they took it down, and it certainly wasn't copyrighted.

Now, have you been sued, or has youtube just taken down your video?

Ah I see. Thanks for the replies.
I'm not being sued I'm just trying to have the copyright claim removed so that there are no more viewing limitations such as no availability on mobile devices
