Company Bonus Not Paid out.

Bonus not paid after resignation.

Here's the facts:

I worked at a public company in MD Jan 1 through Dec 3, 1999 when I resigned to go elsewhere. I was employed at a level qualifying for the company bonus but they did not pay me the bonus.

Is this because I didn't qualify since I wasn't employed on the last day of the year? How do I get a copy of the internal company policies for the bonuses and it' s payout guidelines? Should I have received the bonus?
