I am resident of illinois. While on the job, I was shot in the lower leg, resulting in 6-8 months of disability, along with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. What type of settlement can I expect from my workers compensation and should I contact a lawyer? When?

The answer to one is dependent on the answer to the other. Don't know how you got shot, but did it have to do with work? Yes, get a lawyer. http://www.attorneypages.com
