in kansas, what precautions do police have to make when executing a search warrant so that innocent people are not tramatized and put in jepardy when they use a swat team? they held rifles on me and an 11 yr old child, even though we were not implicated on the warrant. the person they were after has never been known to them to be violent or a threat to their safety. i was in my home, which was not where the person they were looking for was at the time. he lives on my property in a trailer. they did not search my home.
