tennessee-husband purchased vehicle from dealership in nov 00,employee made copies of drivers license,etc and purchased/leased 2 vehicles using husbands identity.feel that dealership should be liable for credit damages,mental anguish,etc during this period of time. employee has been caught however, and is in jail. should we/could we sue for damages?

If you have in fact been damaged, then yes.
