Careless Driving Ticket Through a Witness

michigan: i recieved a careless driving ticket becasue a women called in and said that i ran a stop sign and if she would have taken her turn at a stop sign, then she would have collided into me. there was no close to collision accident nor did she even have to swerve to miss me. she was at a dead stop. there was no police officer present at the time. i would like to take this to court, but i would like to know my likelihoodness of winning the case, and what should be done and said?
