I'm in California. I'm hoping someone will answer this for me.

I have a parolee living in my home. He rents a room from me. A couple of days ago his parole officer and four or five other cops came and searched my entire house, garage, my yards and all out buildings. By him living here is my property subject to these searches at anytime? I tried to ask them but they never answered me.

Can someone please help..........?

Thank you very much,

Sherree

Yup. That is why he is a parolee and not a "free man". They have the right to search all of his belongings and his home, without a warrant and regardless of whether it is your home.

Have fun.
