in ohio i was given a ticket for "short-cutting" through a gas station. my intention was to get gas then pick up my wife at the store across the street. after i pulled in the gas station i saw her standing outside store and decided to pick her up first. the officer pulled me over and gave me a ticket and did not want to hear my explaination. my wife walked up to the car and the officer saw her while he was writing the ticket. i pled not guilty at traffic court and i have pre-trial hearing on june 12. can i get out of this or minimize the damage of this ticket at a pre-trial hearing?
