My friend was arrested and the search warrant included alot of things that they would not have found. Do they use a standard warrant for drug warrants. The warrant included chemicals, needles, and a lot of things. Did they expect to find these things or do they usually include them on all drug related search warrants.

general warrants

first in order for any agency to have a warrant, they must first go to a judge, and give a cause to the judge to show that the agency has within reason, either evidence of facts gatherd thru intellegence,or other means, that are for their legal dispousel,a warrant can be issued, any item, can be put on the warrant,if an item is not found, then they do not have to answer to any pleading that half of the items were not even found,as long as they have found any item, that is related to the search, can be used,as long as it specifies what was being searchd for,and the locations, that are to be searchd, such as,house,apt.building,tr.vehic.premises,etc.
i am not an attorney, please consult with one in your home state.good-luck,friends
ps.related items, are if they were searching for items used in general to manufacturing,or using drugs, then any and all of those items are usually put on the warrant, mainly to prevent, any rebuttels in claims, for a defense, that a particular item was found, but was not on the warrant.
