adoption in texas, but natural father died in pennsylvania. my ex-husband terminated his parental rights of our daughter in Texas and my husband adopted her. her natural father was killed 2 weeks ago in pennsylvania. he died with no other survivors. texas law says that she does not give up her right to inherit from him in the event of his death. the state of pennsylvania says other wise, but the adoption was done in texas. will the state of pennsylvania recognize the texas family code or go by pennsylvania codes? will they recognize her right as his natural child.
