I was in the 12th month of a 24 month security monitoring agreement when I was transferred out of state by my employer. The security company offered no reasonable alternative so I cancelled my agreement and made theri equipment available to be removed. I heard nothing from them for nine months and now I have a collection agent calling. Am I liable for the remaining 12 months? No clause in contract for job transfers or alternative arrangement for completeing the agreement.
