My municipal electric company has recently back billed me for 11 mos due to a faulty meter on the Cities part. They have estimated my usage for the last 11 mos and issued me a bill for $1300. I know they have a service guarantee that your bill will be accurate and I have paid them in full each month. I feel it is the cities fault the error was not caught by the meter reader at an earlier time. Is there anything I can do?
