I had heard from a friend that there is a 48 hour period, even after signing a vehicle leases that you can change your mind. Is this just something she made up, or is it true, and how can I find documentation to back it up? Thank you.

You can get that information by simply reading the lease agreements used by various dealers since they all have to post various information required by federal and state law. Visit various car dealers near you and ask to see a typical lease agreement.
