New Business: LLC vs Corp

I have a line of jellies I would like to sell on web and wholesale to gourmet shops, etc. and want a company that can protect me from suit as much as possible. Is it better to form an LLC or an S Corp? Which offers best legal protection and what are benefits?

It's all on FreeAdvice.com -- read. But there is little difference IF you obey all ther corporate formalities and have a lawyer to protect you. AND buy some liability insurance too.
