I need some real legal advice on this issue and time is critical. Situation: 16 almost 17 yr old female seeking emancipation from parents. Lives in MD but parents took her to Ill. to live, she is not yet a resident of that state. Her father lives in VA and her mom will live in Utah as of July 4th 2001. What does she have to do and how would she go about doing it? Where can I get the informationa nd paperwork for her. BTW I am 20 years old and this is VERY serious and important to me! Please respond asap!!!!!
