I'm in the state of Florida and I have a question about a situation my friend got himself into. He is in jail for aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer. I love him dearly and I just want to know how much trouble he is actually in. This is not his first time in jail, but the other times were misdemeanors. There was no weapon involved ever and not this time either. He has not been to court yet. What's going to happen to him next and how much time is he looking at? Also why is it aggravated assault if it was just a physical altercation with no weapon?
