I live in Illinois. If someone gives you permission to get a credit card in their name and they give you all their information to obtain it could you get charged with identity theft? The bill is always paid so it isn't just racking up charges. I know it is their words against each other but, she gave the ss #, and she was initially wanting cards for herself at the other persons house so her husband wouldn't know and when the credit card arrived she changed her mind but told the other person she can use it as long as she pays it. Could you help us with this? Thank you
