I am male and 48 years old and rent an apartment in Texas.
A seventeen year old female has shown interest in being my roommate and roommate only, and sharing cost of rent.
Am I taking a legal risk? She says she has her parents permission and by Texas Law can move out of their house and live with anyone she pleases. She is a college student and has a job parttime.
What is the Texas Law in this matter?
Can she be held to a rental or lease contract that I provide and she signs?
