In Illinois does anyone have advise on how to get out of a ticket for not using turn signals?

possible help

if your window was down, tell them that you did signal. tell them you used hand signals. you know, arm stright out is a left turn, arm bent up is a right hand turn.

if your arm WAS out the window, perhaps you did signal and not know it.

i have no law experience, but i believe this is a legal signal (it is in michigan).

Use of hand signals instead of turn signals are only acceptable when your turn signals cannot be seen or in older cars that do not have turn signals.
