I live in washington state and have been involved in a protracted divorce for 4 years now. my questions: my attorney has billed me for services such as asking questions she already had the answers to, having me do research on problems when she should be doing it herself, and worst of all, she had information my husband was ordered to produce in her posession for 17 months but took no action on it; do I have to pay or can I contest these things? at the bottom of all her bills to me is a notice that any disputed items must be presented within 30 days. if I don't present them within 30 days, do I loose my right to dispute them?
