I have a small trucking business 3 trucks. I am currently leased on with a carrier with a contract for 1 year. The carrier has just sent me a letter stating that I will have to do hauls that I have refused to take in the past [for financial reasons]and at a rate that I can not afford to haul. He has also not complied with D.O.T. legal issues he has not lived up to other parts of this contract and is not doing his part of the job that I am paying him for. I want to know how to terminate this contract with as little hassle and expense as possible.
