my fiancee is a construction worker in arizona. a few months ago, he was traveling from his boss's office to a job and was hit by a car head-on. it was not his fault at all, but his truck was totaled and the driver who caused the accident has minimal insurance. at the time of the accident, he was on the clock. his employer pays for his travel time from job to job and for his mileage since they could not provide him a company truck. it is part of his job to travel from one worksite to another. since the accident, he has been unable to work because of injuries. he just wants to be reimubursed for his medical bills and lost wages. will workmen's comp cover this? also, a month and a half after the accident (he had not been working over this period of time) he was fired, can they do that while he is still on injury leave? i would greatly appreciate any advice anybody may have on this.

Go through the Yellow Pages and find an attorney that does accidents AND workers' compensation. To talk to the attorney will not cost you anything and before you go, write down your questions and take them with you.
