Fined for Speeding with a faulty gas petal Florida

I was driving

when I press on the gas and the gas petal was stuck so I tried tapping it so it would get loosen but the car went even faster so i pulled the gas petal with my foot to unprop it but during this a police fined my for speeding I went to a shop with the car and it turns out there was something wrong with the Petal.

The car was not mines is there any laws that protects pepole from unsafe vehicle that would allow the ticket for speeding but not give a liscence any points.

is not an excuse to break the law. Does not matter who the car belongs to. The only thing for you to do is pay the fine fine fine.
