California. I need information on 'slamming'. A long distance phone company has forged my name on a 'contract'. I have a copy of this, and can prove without a shadow of a doubt that it is forged. I have an appointment with an attorney next week, but fear this company may be a 'fly by night' and I want to make them face up to this. Can anyone help me? I like to know the laws, forwarned is forearmed. Thanks.
