In state of Kansas in Johnson Country, I was cited to failure to use signals during lane changes on a major thoroughfare (not a hignway). The fine on the ticket is $75 and the KS statute lists $10 as a guideline for this offense. Anyone know which is corrent or why it seems so much higher than the guideline??

That is because the county has decided to not use the 'guideline', since that is just what it is... a guideline.
Call the county court and ask them what the fine is for that offense. When they tell you $75.00, pay it or fight it, your choice.

And, remember, when in Johnson County, KS, always use your turn signals!!!
