i bought a mitsubishi galant (96)in louisiana, from a used car dealership. i have had the car 8 months, and the transmission has been rebuilt twice, the last time by a mitsubishi dealership! Since then, it has been back there more times than i can remember. i was told by the first place that rebuilt it that it was a defective transmission.thank goodness i have an extended warranty with aul, but i can't afford to keep paying the taxes and for the fluids that the warranty doesn't cover, as well as the note on the car. What are my options? Does this qualify under the lemon law? and if so, what steps should i take.
