I have just found out that my daugher has been molested by her uncle. I need to know what all has to be done to press charges againsted this man. He lives in the State of Kentucky and I live in Ohio now. He touched her on her private parts, he did not penetrated her. But he is known to do it before and it needs to be stopped now.

No, I have not connected the police. But I have contacted children services. I am taking my daughter today there so they can question her about it. I am the only one that she has told and I feel a social worker would be better because I figured it would be easier on my daughter. Not a police officer that might never have been through this before and might not have the patience for this. I am hopeing that this was the right thing but I am sure that they would of been brought in it anyways. And I know that the police will question her also but I also thought that maybe that social worker would be there to support her through it and could stay calm because I know that I would get mad if someone told her that she was lying. I am not sure if that makes sense or not but that is the only way I can explain it. Thank you for your response.
