Someone in our family has obtained a permanent restraining
order against another family member. The charges on the
restraining order are totally false. The person charged
was mentally overtaxed and financially spent at the time and
did not go to the hearing, therefore, the permanent order
was obtained. This person has not violated the order, but
the petitioner is always filing violation charges. There
is never any proof, police reports or any other evidence
to support these violation accusations, yet the defendant
is put in a situation of having to spend 1.0000.00, going
to trial, etc. She lives in fear that she will actually
end up in jail because of these socalled "violations." The
petitioner uses this restraining order to control the rest
of the family. We are All fed up. how can we remedy the
situation. We live in wasington state
