i am from california. i've been involved with my worker's comp. case for the last 8 years, the first 2 years i handled it myself then i hired an attorny. i just had a trial where the insurance company finally agreed to settle the case. one week after the hearing i was informed that the company has just gone into bankruptsie. now what do i do? this is very scary and makes me very angry. does anyone have a suggestions as to what i can do or who i can turn to for help.
