Colorado- Just want to get the facts straight before going to court. Husband backed into a storage door on our apartments property on the fourth of july. Landlords office was closed and we didn't know we were supposed to call police. We were going to report the accident to the landlord the next day but the police showed up and charged him with unsafe backing (2 pts) and left scene after striking property (12 pts). But he never left the scene. But since he did not call the cops it is failure to report hit and run. I just want to know what is what because he can;t lose his driving priviledges because he is the only one that works and drives. Not trying to get out of anything just want to know if the info and the points are correct. thanx for your help
