Check Problems

I have recently moved to another state from Missouri. I had passed a few bad checks in Missouri. I keep checking with the prosecutors office to see if any checks have been turned in but nothing so far. It has been almost two months since the checks were written, can anyone tell me if there is a time frame that the merchants have to turn in a check to the prosecutors office?

There is no time frame so better to call the merchants and explain before they get mad and have the prosecutor's office issue a warrant in the State you are living in.
