I was caught driving under suspension last month. My license was suspended for driving without insurance. I have since gotten insurance and SR-22 coverage that Ohio requires.

When I went to my court date this morning, the judge gave me a continuance (her idea, not mine). She said I needed to talk to a lawyer because I had a juvenile hold--whatever the hell that is--because I had my license suspended when I was 16. I am now 19.

my questions:

I know that driving under suspension carries possible jail time. Is this avoidable?

also, can anyone explain to me what this juvenile hold bull**** means?

thanks whoever takes the time to help. :)
