I live in Indiana, and I'm currently renting a home with another girl. One of our neighbors parks right in front of our house almost everday, halfway onto our yard and halfway in the street. That is our private property, or at least the property of the man that is leasing the house to us. It is NOT the property of the person who is parking on it. We posted a "no parking" sign on our chain link fence where he parks, yet he still parks there, and has done so several times after the sign was posted. Legally, can we call a towing company and have him towed? Or at least write a letter and place it uner his windsheild politely asking him not to park on our property anymore?

Call the towing company to find out the exact law.
Many States require a sign stating the name, phone number and address of the towing company.

Also call the cops and have them talk to this person about trespassing. If still no results, call cops again and have them shoot out the tires.
