I just bought a used car. $4800.
The first day the window gear broke no big deal. The third day the transmission went. The dealer claimed it was road garbage and he was not liable. $1900. Now into the 3rd week and the transfer case is leaking oil.

What should I do?

Who is liable?

Sorry - can't answer your questions but, a couple of things that might help somehow,

A transmission is a sealed unit, it has to be - it's filled with oil (no matter if it's a standard oor automatic) and road garbage can't realistically get inside. You might have a mechanic give you an opinion on this.

If you go back to your original post - the one where you were yelling - look at the lower right hand corner - hit the edit button and you'll be able to delete the whole thread by deleting your original post. Keep you from having to track replies for two threads.

Good luck,
