my 15 year old son in lincoln county nebraska was issused a citation for violate of school permit. he is guilty. he was off his path to school and home. this citation says you must appear in court. do we need a lawyer to go to court with us? is there another way to handle this without going to court? will he lose his permit? will this effect him getting his drivers license in april when he turns 16?

it would be good to get a lawyer because he could be affected in all the ways you mentioned.
