I have an additional question to you. You mention death tax chargeable to the estate. Is this the tax that we are being charged in relation to the % of the estate we received?

Right. The tax I was referring to is also known as the inheritance tax, the death tax, the liberal/marxist redistribution of wealth tax, etc., etc. I believe that this year the threshold limit is $675,000 before any such tax bite affects you.
