My daughter lives in MD and her ex-husband resides in FL. They have been divorced since May of this year. Because his name was listed first on tax refund check, he received their Indiana check and signed her name. (filed jointly). There is also a refund check from the state of GA. in the amount of 976 dollars, which he claims he has not received. What can she do about this?????

She informs him to pay her half of the money or she will report him to the IRS for forgery. Give him a date to comply and if he does not, then report him to the IRS.
