I currently live in Florida.

My wife and I are going through a divorce now and want to get the ownership of our assets resolved. The main asset being our house. We have two children together. I have moved out and been living by myself for the past 3 months. She wants to buy me out of on the house. However she claims she does not have to buy me out because accroding to her lawyer she can live there with the kids until the smallest one turns 18 or moves out. Is this true or am I being taken for a ride? We have a considerable good equity in the house and I do not wish to wait 14 years to see any part of it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

thanks
