Nevada Law. I bought a house in my name 2 years ago. My wife and I both lived there, but the house was just in my name.It costs 151,000 then...worth 161,000, now. We put 50.000 down on the house. My wife died and her children want to put it in probate. Using those numbers..by law..what if anything are they entited to? No will was left, children are 23 and 25 and live out of state. Thank You again..I need HELP.

My response:

Using the same mathematical structure from my previous response to you, Paul, the two ingrates are entitled to a total of $15,000.00 to be split between them. Make sure you have them sign a "Release of All Claims".

Refinance the house or take a "second". Pay them off.
