Can land be sold by the estate trustee without being present at the location if documents are processed at the trustees residence State, even though he lives in a different State?

In most states, the documents and deed can be signed by an out of state trustee, although proper notary public certification is needed on the deed and a "flag" from a state officer confirming the notary's licensure may be needed as well.

In some states there is a rather complicated process for a trustee to get power to sell real estate and other property.
