Does anybody know if there is a certain time limit or perocedure a lawyer must take before going to court to try and withdraw as council.

I had my Lawyer send me a notice of withdraw to my work 2 days before they went to court to try and withdraw as council on my paternity suite. (I live in CA) When I showed up they quickly withdrew their withdrawl. (All fees were paid in full and they still had moneys in trust)\
