in the state of texas do a child have any influence in which parent obtains custody. if so does the age of the child matter. will the court take any of the comments and events the child tells about seriously or do they think a childs memory is clouded or influenced

it depends on the age of the child i think she or he would have to be around the age of 13 yrs old to have any say so on who they want to live with .
