i was promised certain stocks in a c corporation in louisiana. now, the owner would like me to accept a higher amount of stock options in lieu of the stock certificates with the intent of me holding the options until the company sells. is this advisable. i feel like i'm being ambushed here, but don't know if perhaps the owner is on the up and up. thanks, barry.
