What are my obligations to people who paid to but did not attend my convention and failed to notify me before hand? Expenses were put out for them. Do I need to notify them? What are my obligations if they contact me at some point? I had a $75 cancel fee if they contacted before a date prior but nothing written about No Shows. Do I owe them and how much, if so, can I deduct from the refund? Is mailing them what they would have got there sufficient to avoid refunds? Can I just forward the amount to the next convention? The convention was in Reno, NV my company is in Oregon. Next time I will have a written policy. Thanks.
