My husband was charged with a class d Felony in the state of Indiana in Dec '95. Since that time he has not been in any other trouble. Is there any way to go back and have that taken off his record now? We are wanting to try adoption, but I am scared with a Felony on his record, we wont qualify. Any help would be appreciated.

A Pardon -An act of forgiveness of a crime coming from either the governor of the state in which the crime was committed or the President of the United States of America.

Good luck!
Besides that a felon is a felon for life.
