In phoenix how long should it take for someone to receive their sentencing, after they have been tried and convicted by a jury for murder and if someone may have not received a fair trial for any number of reasons what steps should the family or the convicted person take in order to have case reviewed if they can't afford a personal attorney.

You may be entitled to a free appointed counsel for the apppeal. Or, if not, try to get a legal aid society or a law school legal clinic interested in the case.
