i am a 15% shareholder of a company. i learned that my parnter who owns 85% was embezzling company money. i hired an atty and next thing he did was declare bankruptcy (personal). my suit was against him and the corporation. his bankruptcy was granted. does that mean i can go after the company for monies owed to me ($27000.00 i invested, my backpay, etc)? what are my rights as a shareholder and how can i get my company back?
