I live in California.

A year ago, I puchased a '92 toyota, for one of my grandaughters for $2000, on the condition that she pay me back $100 a month til the loan is payed off.

I am a trusting soul, as a grandfather should be with his grandaughter, and it was only a verbal agreement. As you already can guess, she has only payed me back 400, and is three months late in payments. I have a feeling that she has no intention on paying the remainder of the loan. She does not live in the same area as I do, and she never returns my calls. What legal rights do I have in collecting this debt. She is 20years old and I foolishly put the car in her name (pink slip). Any input will be appreciated
